Abstract

To decrease severe rainfall disaster, the severe rainfall Forecasting Warning System needs good management to ensure accurate data and be a strong organization. Due to their capability in immediate availability of rainfall distribution, radar raingauges are thought to be effective not only in obtaining current data, but also in predicting rainfall. This study analyzes the chronological changes of natural disasters, and examines applicability of rainfall forecasts by using radar to reduce severe rainfall disaster.
