ルイス・カーンの建築創作思想の変遷に関する研究

抄録

The aim of this paper is to study the precise development of Louis I. Kahn's architectural philosophy for the recognition of his architectural contribution. Firstly, I chronologically regulated the statements of Louis I. Kahn and classified them into several categories according to their contents. As a result of studying the distinctive features and the relationship of thoughts, the discrepancies of Kahn's architectural philosophy generated by the uncertain dates stated by Kahn were regulated. The redefined categories are as follows: Philosophy I (1953 to 1957) : Established the idea of ORDER Philosophy II (1958 to 1962) : Developed ORDER's idea to the idea of FORM Philosophy III (1963 to 1966) : Established the idea of INSTITUTION Philosophy IV (1967 to 1974 (his death)) : Established the idea of ROOM as the materialization of former ideas
