In this paper, the architectural features of Les Halles as a model were specifically identified from architectural drawings. The former market model, which existed prior to Les Halles, has been updated to a new model, in which the elements have been redefined according to the new materials of construction, such as steel and glass. Elements of Les Halles model were selectively adopted in each district market, showing how each district market was distributed with reference to the standard dimensions and elements of Les Halles model.
