In this study, a web-based questionnaire survey was conducted among elderly people (N=702) living in Hyogo Prefecture, and a multinomial logit analysis was conducted according to isolation and loneliness status to explore physical activation status and social support that contributes to the prevention of isolation and loneliness. By comparing the marginal effects of each variable by isolation and loneliness status using the discrete choice model in this study, it was shown that the physical activation status of older adults and the social support that contributes to the prevention of isolation and loneliness differ depending on the isolation and loneliness status.
