Abstract
The Variation in the modulus of elasticity and parmanent set in a heated state and the temperature, determined on concrete specimens, 5cm diameter and 10cm in length, which were not subjected to any load during the heating period, are shown in Fig. 24 to 33. These test results were obtained from the stress-strain curvers of four kinds of test specimens (A, B, D, E), of which mixtures were described in the previous report. As for static modulus of elasticity, 1) there is a sharp reduction at 100℃, and 2) at 200℃and higher the reduction for expanded shale is slightly smaller compared to that for river gravel. Moreover, variations in the tensile strength in a heated state and temperature, determined on concrete cylinders, 5cm diameter and 7cm in length, are shown in Fig. 34.
