Abstract
In this report, the author discussed a numerical method and turbulent kinematic viscosity for the computation of two-dimensional buoyant circulation in a heated medium-sized test room. In the first half, the difference equations are introducd for the transport equations of vorticity and temperature, and in the case of the equation of continuity, the band matrix equation is adopted for the stream function. As this numerical method is for the analysis of the averaged tnrbulent air flow in the heated room, the distribution of turbulent kinematic viscosity must be measured at certian points in the turbulent air circulation. This method would make it possible to save the computing time and memory, and to check the divergence of the solutions under the non-linear and time dependent calculation. And in the latter half, the following results are referred to the turblent air flow in the heated test room. By using the scale of vorticity 〓 and mean velocity u at a certain point, turbulent kinematic viscosity K_T can be expressed by the next equation. K_T∝〓・|u|
