A STUDY ON GROUP HOUSING FOR PERSON WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES IN GERMANY AND NETHERLANDS : On the conditions of housing and community living for person with intellectual disabilities in the system of public care insurance(Architectural Planning and Design)

Abstract

For the improvement on living conditions of person with intellectual disabilities in their community living, this study aims to clarify the qualities of group-housing in Germany and Netherlands as the countries with the system of public care insurance similarly in Japan. As the result, on the aspect of housing scale Germany has progressed much more, and there has been remarkable tendency for arranging group-housing to be respect to private life for the residents in Netherlands. These data of this study is useful for improvements of the Japanese regulations and assessments of environment for clients.
