Abstract
In recent years, there are a large number of real problems regarding learning structural mechanics at the University. The contributing factors are the decline in academic ability and the fact that many students do not have basic academic abilities for physics and math. To deal with this situation, a self-instructional e-learning system is needed.
First, understanding the level of students and the type of error were analyzed. Next, an e-learning system for structural mechanics was developed based on the result of this analysis. An experiment for e-Learning system performance was carried out.
As a result, this system is assessable as a new learning structural mechanics by self-instruction.
