This is a study on an architectural historian, Sekino Tadashi’s opinions to a prefectural ordinance “removal of Gangi” and it is following two aspects.###1. Removal of Gangi was difficult because Takada was heavy snowy district and therefore Sekino Tadashi proposed unification of the form of Gangi, installation of fire protection facilities and city arrangement.###2. However, Sekino Tadashi’s proposal about form of Gangi wasn’t sufficiently carried out.
