In this study, we examine the potential use of image generative AI in architectural design education. University students used it to output floor plans or photographs/images. They then evaluated the output images during the steps of case study collection, floor plan planning, and presentation. They found that photographs/images are output more often than floor plans. When the image that was imagined was output by it, there was a tendency that new ideas were obtained. As the work progressed, the input words moved from architectural styles to words of the elements of architectural rooms and spaces.
