Abstract

These are agendas for an open symposium, 'Total evaluation on Heisei pro-merger policy and new movements by merged municipalities .' This symposium aims to share information on the outcomes of Heisei pro-merger policy of municipalities among politicians, administrative officials, researchers and local people, and tasks to be soluted for newly merged municipalites, and to discuss new shapes of municipalities in Japan.
