Abstract

Gas-phase chemiluminescence detections of arsenic, phosphorus, and boron have been carried out with mixing ozone and their hydrides. The present analytical method includes developments in the generation techniques of reactive hydrides to water such as phosphine and diborane. Chemiluminescence spectra were also given for phosphine-ozone and diborane-ozone systems. Arsenic and phosphorus in rain and seawaters (Japan Trench and Seto Inland Sea) were measured by the present method.
