The concentrations of 18 soluble inorganic species were determined in the surface water samples of Lake Teganuma, periodically collecting at three points in the lake and three points at the rivers entering into the lake, from Dec. 1988. Vertical distributions of them in the lake were also examined using a simple glass tube with stop cocks. Some characteristics of them were discussed in relation to their sources and biological activities.
