Visible light cured resin (LCR) has been developed as an embedding material for electron microscope observation. Advantages are quick curing (less than 1 minute), good adhesion to engineering plastics and polymers, stability to electron beam observation and safe operation due to the use of visible light.
The ability to cure at low temperature is an advantage for heat sensitive specimens.
