PRELIMINARY STUDY OF BACTERIAL IDENTIFICATION BY ELEMENTAL MICRO-ANALYSIS METHOD

Abstract

This paper deals with a new applications of the elemental micro-analyzer which can be used as a tool of determination the chemical components of bacteria. According to the preliminary study, different kinds of bacteria have their own specific N/C ratios, that might be used as references for classification or identification of the bacteria species or strains.
