EXAFS ANALYSIS OF FINELY DISPERSED METALLIC SPECIES ON ZEOLITE

Abstract

Formation and structure of finely dispersed metallic species in a zeolite matrix were investigated by extended X-ray absorption fine structure measurements. Reactive species formed in Cu-Y and Pd-Y zeolites by a consecutive reduction-reoxidation treatment were characterized to be small CuO and PdO clusters, respectively.
