Abstract

The semiquantitative analysis, which is called as Standardless Analysis' allows to obtain the compositions of samples directly from qualitative scan data without knowing sample information. The new methods on peak separation and background curve fitting demonstrated as powerful tools for the semi-quantitative analysis. The peak separation can also be applied to determine line overlapping coefficients for the conventional fundamental parameter method and the coefficients showed accurate line overlapping corrections.
