Crystals of ethylenediamine bis(sulfamate) (1) are monoclinic, space group P21/n with a = 4.7844(12)Å, b = 5.4373(13)Å, c = 18.080(4)Å, β = 91.183(4)°, V = 470.2(2)Å3, Z = 2. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined to a final R value of 0.0428 of 864 reflections (I > 2σ(I)). The oxygen atom of sulfamate was connected to ethylenediamine by hydrogen bonds.
