Crystal Structure of 1,2,4,5-Tetra(3-methylphenyl)hexahydro-1,2,4,5-tetrazine

Abstract

The title compound was synthesized and its structure was characterized by X-ray diffraction. This compound crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P2₁/n with cell parameters of a = 13.1058(14)Å, b = 5.6499(6)Å, c = 16.7410(17)Å, β = 103.839(6)°, and Z = 2; the final residual factor is R = 0.0380 for 1989 reflections.
