In this study, I would like to examine influences of bridge construction against the tourist industry of the island taking a case of Ikuchi Island in Hiroshima Prefecture. Nishi-Seto highway has connected Ikuchi Island with Honshu. There are various impacts on the island and the problem is that characteristics of island have been declining by the bridge construction project.
