An intersexual individual of the harvestman Gagrellula ferruginea (LOMAN) was collected at Hayashida Spa, Kirishima, Kagoshima-ken on August 5, 1958 by the author. The body size and the length of legs are intermediate between two sexes (see Table 1). Palpal tibiae and tarsi also display intermediate conditions (Figs. 9-11). Genitalia exhibit a blending of male and female characters (compare Figs. 5, 8 with Figs. 6-7).
