Production of Endo-1, 4-β-glucanase Activity: A Simple Method for Suspension Culture of Poplar Cells

Abstract

A large amount of growing poplar cells and a high level of endo-1, 4-β-glucanase activities have been produced by using a simple and inexpensive system. This system is useful for obtaining not only plant enzymes but also secondary metabolites from the cultured cells of higher plants.
