Preparation and Characterization of Anti-Fumonisin Monoclonal Antibodies

Abstract

Murine monoclonal antibodies were prepared against fumonisin B₁-carrier protein conjugates, such as fumonisin B₁-ovalbumin and fumonisin B1-keyhole limpet hemocyanin. Five stable hybridoma clones were obtained. The response ranges of these monoclonal antibodies for fumonisin B₁ were from 10 to 1000-5000 ng/ml in the competitive indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (CI-ELISA).
