The new conjugated uronic acid isolated from urine of naphthalenized rabbits is a kind of α-naphtholglucuronic acid. The uronic acid takes in the molecule probably the form of α-pyranose. We wish to thank Professor H. Suginome of the Chemical Department for his kind criticism.
