Some aspects of information theoretical treatments of genes are reviewed. In particular;
(1) the alignment for amino acid sequences 0f homologous protein,
(2) construction of complete event systems for amino acid sequences,
(3) discussion of various genetic distance matrices,
(4) the methods constructing phylogenetic trees for of molecular evolution
Then we consider the use of information theory to the study of genetical evolution.
