Middle Carboniferous to Early Permian Fusulinaceans from the Akiyoshi Limestone Group, Southwest Japan

Abstract

The present paper deals with the systematic paleontology of the Middle Carboniferous to Early Permian fusulinaceans collected from the Akiyoshi Limestone Group in the Jigoku-dani area, Akiyoshi, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. Fifty-one fusulinacean species among 14 genera, 4 subfamilies, and 2 families, are described and discussed.
