Abstract
In quantitative spectrographic analysis, it is necessary to construct the emulsion calibration curves when the background correction is made.
In this report discussion is given of err Ts, those are non-uniformity of the slit illumination, nonuniform sensitivity on the plate and photometric error of the microphotometer, on the stepped sector method and the two step method for the emulsion calibration. The results are summarized as follows:
1. Stepped sector method will not provide the accurate emulsion calibration curves, as far as the optical alignment of the spectrograph used is not satisfactory.
2. Two-step method gives more precise calibration curves, but hos not provided self-consistent curve.
