Abstract

Pyrola japonica Klenze ex Alefeld var. subaphylla (Maxim.) Andres, a myco-heterotrophic variety of P. japonica, was recorded in Shikoku District, Japan. Three individuals were observed in a deciduous forest in Naka-cho, Naka-gun, Tokushima Prefecture.
