Exploring Cosmic Ray Origin by TeV Gamma-Rays

Abstract

Recent results from the new CANGAROO 10m Cherenkov gamma-ray telescope, which is being operated in Australia for high-energy gamma-ray observation of celestial objects, are reported. We focus on our observations of supernova remnants, which are assumed to be the origin of cosmic rays for a long time. Also we introduce our ongoing project which aims to realize the TeV gamma-ray imaging using stereo observation technique.
