After the conclusion that the quark spin is responsible only 20-30% for the nucleon spin, it has been expected that the gluon spin will possibly cancel the lack of the spin. Then, the subject to measure the contribution of gluon spin to the nucleon spin has been an urgent issue. This subject has been proposed at several laboratories like CERN, DESY, BNL etc., and is presently intensively being progressed. COMPASS has started the measurement of the gluon polarization ⊿G/G from 2002. Here, we will show the progress of the COMPASS project and very preliminary results on the measurement of gluon polarization, longitudinally polarized DIS asymmetry, and Collins asymmetry to the transversely polarized deuteron.
