Abstract
There is an increasing need for reflecting subjective values to ecosystem services into policies. It is, however, unclear that what kind of factors are considered by general public when they determine their subjective values. This study revealed determining factors of subjective values of 866 people focusing on two cultural ecosystem services provided by Isshiki tidal flat in Aichi prefecture. We recognized 40 and 28 factors of “mental cure” and “environment educational use” respectively, through internet based free-answer questionnaire survey. General public considered diverse information for determining their values of cultural ecosystem services as a whole.
