Abstract
On 5 kinds of disease, I investigated the edema which occured by the application of -200mm Hg negative pressure on the blood capillaries. 1) The edema comes in sight 1〜2 minutes after the beginning of application of negative pressure, and increases its intensity in different speed on each disease. 2) Stopping aspiration, the edema decreases in different speed on each disease, and disappears in 10〜15 minutes. 3) Owing to my opinion, one of the reasons for the long stay of edema in the case of discompensated heart disease is due to the hindrance of lymphatic return current that caused by the lowering of heart function which can be regarded as a suction pump.
