Abstract

Mesoporous silica (MPS) materials with cylindrical pore and interparticle mesoporous silica (IPMPS) were synthesized by common sol–gel methods. Using these two types of MPS, we examined the effect of enzyme activity on MPS with different pore structures. We observed that enzymes immobilized on IPMPS showed a higher activity.
