Keynote of the Model Code for Design of Concrete Railway Structures

Abstract

The Model Code for Design of Concrete Railway Structures (Draft), which is a revised edition of the Code-1992, has been established by wholly adopting the Structural Performance Verification Design Method. This design code can be applied not only to the structures of JR but also to those of other railway companies. This paper describes the summary of the new code.
