Diversifolol [4α-hydroxy-4β, 10β-dimethyl-7β-(methyl 1E-propenoate)-trans-decanine], a novel rearranged eudesmane sesquiterpene, was isolated from the leaves of Tithonia diversifolia. Its structure was spectroscopically determined by 2D-NMR experiments, including HMBC and NOESY.
