Abstract
Application of Sclerotium hydrophilum to progesterone, 17α-hodroxyprogesterone, deoxycorticosterone, Reichstein's compound S, and corticosterone as the substrate steroids afforded 11α- and 6β-hydroxy compounds from all except corticosterone, and the latter formed 6β- and 15β-hydroxypregn-4-ene-3, 11, 20-trione.
