The definitions for health resorts in Germany describe principles of medical health cure and particular requirements for categorization. Actually health resorts in Germany are places which have high quality standard of living and environment. People in Japan are almost more interested in hotels and their hot springs. In my opinion Japanese hot spring resorts "ONSEN "should be also looked at as a whole, taking environment, urban development, medical health cure and relevant tourism into consideration. From this point of view there are many things to learn from the beautiful German "Kurort".
