Abstract

Recently, attention and the concern for "Alley" have risen. In densely built-up areas, a lot of narrow-minded roads with "Alley" element as an overflow of planting and comes in the place of a regional exchange etc. However, maintenance based on widening is done from the disaster prevention side assuming that it is necessary to exclude it as for a narrow-minded road. Then, the present study examined the possibility of the introduction of "City planning that made the best use of the alley" in densely built-up areas by clarifying the maintenance technique for improving the disaster prevention performance while making the best use of directionality and the alley of the future of the system to make the best use of the alley. As a result, it was clarified that the introduction of "City planning that made the best use of the alley" in densely built-up areas was possible by the use of "Alley city planning plan system".
