Abstract
In order to consider necessary efforts for the susutain of the sustainability of Tenjin festival, we investigated the area and community of the festival. We defined the area influenced by Osaka Tenmangu Shrine as <festival area< and caught it from the four elements, area of Ujiko, festival venue, visible area, recognition area. The dominant festival area is between Osaka Tenmangu Shrine southern part and Okawa ,etc. The influence was weak in Osaka Tenmangu Shrine north, Dojima, Chiyosaki. The community focused on the organization<kou<, and investigated the actual condition of Otori Kou which is one of them. As a result, strengthening support organization by festival participation from the field of festival which is not influenced, securing Tenjin festival budget, expanding volunteer acceptance, training and acquiring Kou’s member, and community base to take over the old town name which are necessary for sustainability of Tenjin Festival.
