Abstract

An evaluation of a townscape ,consisted of buildings designed to conserve the landscape, by tourists is important for a tourist site that owns a traditional scene in order to create a new local brand in the future. Therefore, I analyzed evaluations of a townscape in Oharaimachi street, Ise City, by tourists with a photograph posted on SNS. As a result, I found we can classify two types of photograph, was shot by a photographer focusing on design of traditional buildings and others. It was realized that some tourists are interested in the traditional buildings and evaluate the design of traditional buildings. The other hand, some tourists are interested in other things on the street and enjoy the scenes without the traditional buildings. In the upcoming time, tourist sites that owns a traditional scene need to create a value not only themselves but also with tourists who are interested a townscape and the others.
