Abstract

The increase of Minpaku(Vacation Rental) is caused by the increase of tourists from foreign countries and the rising demand for accommodation. This article researches Kyoto city, and aim at identifying trend of Minpaku location. The research results are as follows; 1)Minpaku has increase to an area where a Common Lodging House known as a small-scale accommodation can not be built. In other words, these facilities tend to be residential areas, 2)On the other hand, Minpaku operating in apartment house are located in the areas with relatively high commercial functions, 3)It has become identify that Minpaku tend to be located in central areas with high land prices, while Common Lodging House in recent years are located in areas with low land prices.
