Abstract
We report the results of the third nationwide survey aimed at clarifying the clinical course of Rhododenol-induced leukoderma. The survey was performed between December 2014 and March 2015, and 981 cases were analyzed. With regard to outcome, 82% (796/964) of the cases were evaluated as improved or cured. However, 16% (156/964) of cases were evaluated as unchanged or exacerbated. In 27% (258/969) of the cases, hyperpigmentation was still observed in the affected area. 225 cases were treated with ultraviolet light irradiation that was effective in 50% of the cases.
