The authors have made an investigation on urinary 17-Ketosteroid excretion of peasants living in Kanegasaki-machi and Ezuriko-mura where the rate of incidence of arteriosclerosis and hypertension was considered to be comparatively high. The relation between variation of 17-Ketosteroid values according to age, sex and season of the year was examined. Urine nitrogen and creatinine were also measured and a study on their relation to 17-Ketosteroid urinary excretion was made.
