On the Central System for Milk Preparation in a University Hospital

Abstract

It becomes serious problem to control a large number of milk bottles in hospital.
In this report dealing with washing and sterilization of milk bottles in the central system, the experimental data shows ultra-sonic washing is more effective and less loading than brush washing, and prewashing by a automatic bottle washing machine is recommended. On the sterilization, using of a chemical disinfectant-for instance “Milton”-is more economical and simpler than boiling.
