抄録

The authers studied acceptance of two types of rice gruel diet. One was 1, 000-1, 200 Cal diet, the other 1300-1400 Cal diet. Owing to plate waste actual consumption ware 860 Cal and 1250 Cal respectively.
The subjects were 185 patients, including internal disease patients (23%), post operative patients (61%), and patients suffering dysphagie or dysmastication (16%).
Both diets were effective to recover health. Nausea or vomiting were observed among patients: 12-25% of internal disease patients, and 17% of dysphagie or dismastication patients.
