Abstract
We report polarization analysis of higher order diffraction beam from polarization gratings in photoreactive polymer liquid crystals (PPLCs). The polarization gratings are created from the photoreaction of PPLCs and finally induced molecular reorientation by annealing. In this work, investigations were carried out on two types of polarization gratings fabricated by different method and PPLCs. Results of the polarization analysis of two polarization gratings in the higher diffraction orders were explained by general diffraction theory described by Jones matrices.
