Abstract
This is to clearfy that the mechanism of two kind of effects, one is accelerative, the other obstructive, on the function of the immunbody production is whether due to the humoral trasmitting or to the nervous transmitting.
It is experimented the influences upon the function to produce immunbodies with the both. rabbits serum after the application of such irritations as to produce the immunbody acceleratively and obstructively. Further, for the purpose of clearfication of the skin specifity of the certain substance which give accelerative effects on the function of immumbody production by the skin irritation, the various kind of irritations which caused the accelerative and obstructive effects on the function of immunbody production.
The results of this experiment are summarised followingly:
1) The mechanism of the accelerative and obstructive effects on the function of immunbody production by the skin irritations is due to the humoral transmitting.
2) The certain substances produced in the skih by the irritations which give two opposite effects on the function of immunbody production are definitely different in their quality.
3) The certain substances which give the accelerative effects on the function of immunbody production are produced only in the skin tissue. (For this meaning, the term of “skin specifity” is applied here.)
