Abstract
We made an apparatus in which various tests of textiles are to be carried out on condition that the water absorption of them are constant. A piece of textile to be tested is hung on a balance in a compartment (testing room), and by the change of weight of it, due to the variation of water absorption a wet air or a dry air blowing apparatus is put in motion through a special relay. Consequentry the water absorption of testing material in the compartment is to be made constant.
We ascertained by many experiments that in spite of the change of humidity in the compartment from time to time according to the change of temperature and other conditions, water absorption of testing materials can be maintained invariably to a sufficient degree.
