A Study on Modeling Approach Based on Modular Fuzzy Model

Abstract

Fuzzy modeling is one of the most important techniques for nonlinear modeling. SIRMs has been studied as useful modeling method for actual applications such as control and pattern recognition. In this paper, we study on modeling approach based on Modular Fuzzy Model extending SIRMs architecture. We show construction of the error objective function for modeling of modular fuzzy model and SIRMs affects prediction performance. Through numerical experiments, we discuss about performance of the models.
