Abstract

The cloudiness part called “Egg” is observed to the opal which is seen in a volcanic host rock.

A lot of cloudiness is observed to opal from Mexico. The thin section of Mexico opal is made to analyze this cloudiness part. A phenomenon that a cloudiness part disappeared by dipping of the water, and cloudiness part appeared again by drying is observed.
